An hour or two in the morning and an hour or two in the evening. Saturday or Sunday is sauna day and I let nobody or nothing stand in the way.

I enjoyed reading your delimas. How do spell dilemas anyway? Good luck

Re: Blog Anxiety

I loved the blog, I've been browsing blogs all day posting to pass the time, and yeah this definitely gave me a great laugh

Re: Working on the Weekends

yah weekend tricks rock!hahahz lol

Re: Life Gets in the Way

I remember reading about this a few years ago in a book called "The Social Life of Information" by John Seely Brown. (For an adequate review, see http://www.complete-review.com/reviews/hbsp/slo... ) One of the main points I walked away with is the extra burden you take on when you tele-commute - no IT support down the hall, no extra printer paper in the supply room, no one to vacuum your carpet or empty your work trash at the end of the day. When you opt for control, you also opt for all the overhead yourself.

I'm not trying to say the tradeoff isn't worth it, but I think few know that this is part of the implicit cost of working at home or anywhere other than a business office location.

Re: What To Do With A Mediocre Work Day

Know that you are never alone in feeling unfocused at work, especially on Fridays. I recommend Guitar Hero breaks.

Re: The Real Cost of Bootstrapping

Unless you become a stage mom or just sell your baby. If only Donald Trump discovers our blog, then we could easily transition this to a new reality show.

Re: The Real Cost of Bootstrapping

Sounds similar to having a kid. Could be very funny to watch someone else go through the pain and anguish - and hopefully reap the rewards of labor over the long haul. Maybe that's what the blogging world is letting us all do - write our personal sitcoms for others to muse over.
